Jayne, Steve, Lara and Dan

In lieu of bridal favours at Lara's wedding this week, we send this donation in loving memory of Lara's beloved grandparents. We all felt your presence in the lead up and on the actual wedding day and you were in our thoughts as you are every day. You would have absolutely loved the wedding, so much love and happiness in the room and I know that you both had the best seats in the house to watch it all. We know this money will help another family have the help and support that we did in the darkest of times.

Happy Heavenly Birthday dear Mum. So much love for you Mum and still much sadness that you are no longer here with us in person. But know that your love keeps us going on days like today, the really tough days, and we all think of you with such affection. December has been a tough month, all the anniversaries of your stroke, being in hospital and the lead up to the 1st birthday and Christmas without you here. We all miss you very much, your cackle, your amazing hair and your smile but know that we're keeping the tradition of family at the forefront of our lives, just like you and Dad always did. Beth is making a Victoria Sandwich cake for you today and we will be having a fish and chip supper in your honour! Love you both forever and always Jayne, Steve, Lara and Beth xxx

Thoughts

Tough days lie ahead for us down here on earth, as we say goodnight to a great lady that we have known since birth. With a smile and such grace, This lady shone bright, she carried a head full of hair so stylish and white. With cups of tea and cackle galore, she sure knew how to laugh, there were memories made at Rugby road where she would actually silly and play daft. She called us by each others name, before our very own, this made us laugh stupid amounts so much we couldn’t moan. She was quite the hostess with her chair in the kitchen, always a bum in the seat, from her dinner lady days to her mum and nanny ways, she was never one for defeat. Whilst she was a worry wart with her mind always ticking. She never failed to put others first she was so kind, considerate and caring. This lady that we speak of Nan, is someone we will always hold dear, she meant the world to each of us and became more precious year on year. Life got tougher in the last few years and it started to take its toll. But with love in her heart and a twinkle in her eye, she never lost her beautiful soul. So as we stand and celebrate her life with hearts so proud it’s true. We want you to know that she will forever be loved as this beautiful lady, dear Nanny, is you! 💓

It’s so difficult to say farewell Mum, but I will always remain thankful for your never ending parental love, caring, all our wonderful memories, your friendship and guidance that you and Dad so openly shared. You are with Dad again now. I miss you so much mum and will love you always. Thank you! Paul xxx
